The hole for a 3/16” diameter staff fits securely in the plastic flag stand ready for display on a desk, book shelf or mantle. The desk flag stand is designed with a 1/2” high base tier with another tier on top measuring 1/4"H and then a small dome on top of them all for a nice, elegant look. Underneath the desk flag stand, the stand is hollow with no base covering. However, there is an god tone tube that is underneath the flag pole stand that extends downward to support the flag staff once it is inserted into the hole.
