While many of us are familiar with worrying about our basic needs being met during hard times…especially with food to feed our family. This 5" scale Fontanini™ "Dahlia" Village figure has a story around this theme. Her family were very blessed, but in one particular year, the year Jesus was born, an early frost destroyed almost their entire gardens. Dahlia worried about how the family would survive the long winter months without their usual amount of garden foods. She prayed and the next day, mushrooms sprouted in their gardens which she quickly gathered. The mushrooms sprouted again the next day and she gratefully gathered them. Upon hearing about the birth of the Christ child, Dahlia urged her family to go see but was unsure of what gift to offer feeling she had none. Then she was guided to bring dried mushrooms to sustain Mary after giving birth, which Dahlia did and Mary was deeply appreciative. Creating a tradition to add a new figure every year, like this Dahlia Village figure, to your Fontanini™ set or that of a family member is fun. The figures are made of a durable polymer that is chip and break resistant and, therefore, child-friendly. Each piece is then hand painted in Italy with safe, lead-free paint in the outstanding Fontanini™ style.

What is your Return & Exchange Policy?
- Within 90 days of purchase date, your product may be returned to St. Patrick's Guild with a receipt for exchange or refund. Items returned for refund are paid back by the same method of payment which you originally used. Items returned without a receipt are credited with store credit. We do not require a return authorization number to process returns.
