This Celtic cross pendant is made in Ireland of sterling silver and has the traditional infinity or eternal circle behind the cross itself which makes it the Celtic cross. The lovely cross pendant has a light airy look to it because of the openwork or filigree design of the different parts of the cross. Each open arm of the cross is filled in with a trinity knot which, in Ireland, often stands as a symbol of the Holy Trinity. To add a further touch of Irish to the cross, the center of the cross features a deep green crystal calling to mind the far ranging green of the beautiful Irish countryside.
The green crystal and sterling silver beautifully complement each other. The Celtic cross itself is 5/8 inch wide and 1 inch high and comes on an 18 inch chain which is the perfect size for most women and young women. This cross pendant can be worn for either casual or more formal occasions and would make a lovely gift for a special birthday or anniversary.
