Product Details
If you wish to give a young person celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation a truly stunning gift, you may wish to consider this Confirmation cross. The cross is made of lead-free pewter and measures 6" high. It has an openwork design with a lamb at the top of the cross, a kneeling angel at each end of the horizontal crossbeam, and a bishop's miter and staff at the bottom. The center of the Confirmation cross features a stunning dove whose tail feathers drop downward and have red crystals at the ends making the feathers look like flames, the flames that came down on the disciples at Pentecost when they received the Holy Spirit just like the young person is doing in the sacrament of Confirmation.
This lovely cross has many of the relevant symbols of Confirmation from the lamb of God to the symbols of the bishop conducting the sacrament to the dove representing the Holy Spirit.
