Product Details
This keepsake box is the perfect size to hold those small mementos a child receives for his or her First Communion. The keepsake box is made of mahogany wood and has a laser cut design on the cover of the box. The design features a host suspended over the chalice with grapes falling down the side of the chalice a metaphor for the wine used in Communion. The words "My First Holy Communion" are included on the cover making the box a special gift for this important occasion in the life of the child. The Communion keepsake box measures 2-1/2" across and 4" long and features a velvet lined bottom so remembrances places in the box will not get scraped or scratched.
The box can be given to either a boy or girl and can be given by itself or you could include a special rosary, saint medal or other small remembrance in the box as an added gift. When the occasion of the First Communion is over, the keepsake box will allow the child to keep in one place the small remembrances he or she received on this special day. The keepsake box will be ideal to keep a rosary, small pieces of jewelry, money or other things the child may wish to collect.
