November 30 is the feast day of St. Andrew the Apostle. The feast of St. Andrew marks the beginning of a new liturgical year with the start of Advent which begins the on the Sunday that falls nearest to the feast day of St. Andrew. The St. Andrew Christmas Novena comes in a 24 page booklet that is beautifully illustrated. The St. Andrew Christmas prayer, contained in the novena, is said to be over 100 years old and thought to have come from Ireland.
