This bible is an exciting publication for young people. Often the choice for children has been the adult Bible or a much smaller version of the Bible with the main stories of the Bible rewritten for children. The Catholic Children's Bible, although written in simpler language, contains the entire Bible as found in an adult bible. The very first part of The Catholic Children's Bible contains an introductory section on what the Bible is and how to use it. There are informational introductions to both the Hebrew and Christian scripture sections giving information about each section. Throughout the Bible, some stories are emphasized with added features that include an explanation of the story to help the child further "understand it", a "live it" section. In this section, that asks the child questions as to how lives were affected by the story.
In addition, there is a "tell it" section where the child is encouraged to retell the story in his or her own words. The Catholic Children’s Bible has bible pictures and maps of the Holy Land, sections on Catholic prayers with the traditional prayers and the rosary and Catholic practices such as the works of mercy. - Within 90 days of purchase date, your non-personalized product may be returned to St. Patrick's Guild with a receipt for exchange or refund.
