This stunning standing African wise man is designed for the Roman Nativity set that is 39" tall though this figure could be used for any set that has the taller figures. The Balthazar wise man figure is made of a sturdy and durable resin and stone mix and stands 37 inches tall. The wise man is designed by the famed Joseph Studios which is noted for its fine attention to detailing. That detailing can be seen here especially in his intricate headwear, the ornate design of his robes and their trim and the ornate box that he is holding. The wise man figure comes boxed.
The wise man's robes are done in deep, dark colors and seem to reflect the richness of his position as a magi. Notice the awed look on his face as he stands in adoration at the manger where the baby is laying. The wise men are a huge part of the story of the Nativity and this figure allows you to add that aspect to your Nativity scene in a beautiful and lovely manner.
