Product Details
This is a very simple Holy Family two-piece set to display during the holidays. The design allows the viewer to focus on and draws attention to the reason for the season and not on intricately designed figures. The set is made of sturdy aluminum and despite the simple appearance, the set is hefty in weight. There are two pieces including Mary holding baby Jesus and Joseph. The Joseph is the tallest piece measuring 5 inches high with Mary standing at 4-3/8”H. Unique aspects of the set are its very simple design and the lack of facial features on the figures.
The set is similar in design to Amish pieces where the reason for the piece is more important than the vision of the piece. This set is perfect for meditation as it allows your imagination to fill in the blank faces and encourages you to question what the figures are thinking and feeling. There is a nice clean look to the figures as the design lines and colors used are sparse. The set would be nice to use as a table centerpiece when the pieces are surrounded by seasonal greens and/or candles. No matter where or how you choose to display the set, you will appreciate its simple and reverent design.
