A Light For My Path Ruzicki, Michael
Walk the Way of the Cross during Lent using the Psalms of Lamentation as your guide. Michael Ruzicki encourages you to walk from Gethsemane to the empty tomb using these Psalms in his booklet A Light For My Path Praying the Psalms on the Way of the Cross. Perfect for use during Lent, the booklet can be used for either individual or parish wide prayer and meditation. Each station has an order of prayer which includes pastoral reflections, short scripture readings and sung responses with recited psalm texts. Along with the order of prayer, original artwork by Michael O'Neill McGrath, OSFS in A Light For My Path helps draw connections between the Gospel accounts of the Passion of Jesus and the Hebrew Scripture prophets who told of his coming. The art features modern urban settings using images that will resonate with current day disciples. Because Psalms from the Hebrew Scriptures are being used for the readings, you are experiencing the same prayers that Jesus would have known although now they are being used to help describe his Passion. A Light For My Path will take you on a spiritual pilgrimage that will help you reflect more deeply on the mystery at the heart of our faith.A Light For My Path Michael Ruzicki 32 Page Booklet Original Artwork by Michael O'Neill McGrath, OSFS

A Light for my path: praying the Psalms on the Way of the Cross
I enjoyed reading the gospel and psalm verses tied to the stations of the cross. It gave you more to think about each station. The art work was so different to be looking through Jesus’s eyes into the crowd. A wonderful addition to Lent.
