This beautiful red enameled and gold plate chalice stands at 7-1/2 inches tall. The rim of the cup is 4 inches in diameter and 3-1/2 inches deep. The red enamel rimmed by a 1/2 in gold band across the top of the cup. The base and node are also high polish gold plate contrasting nicely with the rich red enamel cup. The deep red enamel of the 5380 chalice rich is richly symbolic of blood and the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. The inside of the cup on the 5380 chalice is high polish gold plate and hold 13 ounces. The red enamel chalice is well weighted and is a solid and stable vessel that will last for years.
