This handsome St. Benedict Crucifix has a special feature: you can display it in the base or you can pull it out of the base and hang it on the wall. Both the corpus and the cross have an elegant bronze finish. When displayed as a standing St. Benedict Crucifix, this handsome Veronese styled piece measures 11”W x 17”H. When removed from the base to hang on the wall, the St. Benedict Crucifix measures 11”W x 15-1/2”H. The St. Benedict Crucifix cross is made by the “cold cast bronze” method which involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin, and sand.
When displaying the inspirational St. Benedict Cross free standing, you can move it from area to area depending on where you choose to display it or move it after it has been in one area for a period. The St. Benedict Cross features unique adornment as appropriate for a St. Benedict design and the back is embedded with the St. Benedict medal and a hanging hook is in place at the top. This cross from the Veronese tradition is the right size to be placed in a chapel or even a church. It could be displayed in a school, parish center or any room where classes are held.
