This crucifix is unique and will look inspirational when hung in your home. The cross is made by the Salerni Co. in Italy which has long been noted for its fine woodworking. Measuring 11 inches high, the crucifix is a size that can be hung in any room where you may wish to display it. The cross is made of rosewood and features a smaller maple cross inlaid in the rosewood over which the silverplated corpus and INRI plaque are attached. This gives a two-toned look to the cross and calls attention to the corpus allowing the corpus and INRI plaque to stand out nicely against the combined colors of the rosewood and maple woods.
The rosewood, maple and silver colors complement each other beautifully and give a unique look to the crucifix. The beveled edges of the furniture grade hand finished crucifix and the details on the corpus are examples of the detailing for which Salerni is noted. The rosewood and maple crucifix comes with a pre-drilled opening in the back for convenience in hanging and comes in a lovely satin lined gift box another example of the quality work of the company that makes the crucifix.
